Returns a value indicating whether an end-user can create a new document in the Rich Edit control.

#Remarks

If this property returns True, end-users can create a blank document, closing the currently opened document. If the CreateNewAllowed property returns False, the NewDocument command is not available, and pressing the Ctrl+N key combination has no effect.

Note

The CreateNewAllowed property supports the internal infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code. In order to identify and/or change the state of the end-user functionality related to creating new documents, use the CreateNew property instead.
