Remarks

The appearance settings used to paint all the hot-tracked elements (group headers, links) are specified by the XtraNavBar control. For instance, when the link is hot-tracked it’s appearance settings are specified by the NavBarAppearances.ItemHotTracked property. The AppearanceHotTracked property allows the appearance of individual elements when they are hot-tracked to be specified.

In the XP2View, XPExplorerBarView and skinning paint schemes, setting background colors via the AppearanceHotTracked property is not in effect.
