Remarks

Layout items can be selected in code via the BaseLayoutItem.Selected property and in Customization mode at runtime. Selected items are painted with a different color than regular items.

The SelectParentGroup method selects the group that displays the currently selected item. If multiple layout items are selected, the SelectParentGroup method selects the parent of the first item in the selected item list. Calling this method is similar to pressing the ESC key in Customization mode.
