Remarks

The SaveLayoutToStream method saves the current TileContainer‘s layout to a stream. A saved layout can later be restored via the TileContainer.RestoreLayoutFromStream method.

Alternatively, you can save a TileContainer‘s layout to an XML file or registry via the TileContainer.SaveLayoutToXml or TileContainer.SaveLayoutToRegistry methods respectively.

Saving and restoring a layout affects only group and item arrangements. Item content and appearance settings are not kept.

Tip

You can utilize the Persistence Behavior or Workspace Manager component to save and restore layouts for all supported DevExpress controls at once.
