Name Type Description
path String

A String value specifying the registry key in which the layout should be stored. If an empty string is specified, an exception is raised.

#Remarks

The SaveLayoutToRegistry method saves the current TileContainer‘s layout to a registry. A saved layout can later be restored via the TileContainer.RestoreLayoutFromRegistry method.

Alternatively, you can save a TileContainer‘s layout to an XML file or stream via the TileContainer.SaveLayoutToXml or TileContainer.SaveLayoutToStream methods respectively.

Saving and restoring a layout affects only group and item arrangements. Item content and appearance settings are not kept.

Tip

You can utilize the Persistence Behavior or Workspace Manager component to save and restore layouts for all supported DevExpress controls at once.
