DataGridView.EndUpdate() Method

In This Article

Unlocks the grid after the BeginUpdate method call and forces an immediate visual update.

Namespace: DevExpress.Maui.DataGrid

Assembly: DevExpress.Maui.DataGrid.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Maui.DataGrid

#Declaration

C#
public void EndUpdate()

#Remarks

Enclose your code in the BeginUpdate - EndUpdate method calls to suppress the DataGridView‘s visual updates and maintain its performance when you apply multiple changes to it (for example, sort, group or update data).

Each call to BeginUpdate must be paired with a call to EndUpdate. The BeginUpdate method locks the grid so that it is not rendered after each modification. The EndUpdate method unlocks the control to enable all the changes to take effect.
