Remarks
Use the NegativeParentheses property to obtain the XlNumberFormat object that allows you to specify a native MS Excel number format for a cell value. To apply these number format options to a cell, pass the returned XlNumberFormat object to the IXlCell.ApplyFormatting method as a parameter or assign it to the IXlCell.Formatting property.
