Remarks

If the item is contained in a container, the NewIndex property returns the index within this container’s DiagramContainer.Items collection. Otherwise, it returns the index within the DiagramControl.Items collection. The DiagramItemBoundsChangedEventArgs.NewParent event’s property returns the item’s new parent.
