GanttView.BeginPredecessorLinkEdit Event

Occurs when an end user starts editing or creating a task connector (on MouseDown) on the Gantt area. This is a routed event.

Event Data

The BeginPredecessorLinkEdit event's data class is BeginPredecessorLinkEditEventArgs. The following properties provide information specific to this event:

Property Description
Handled Gets or sets a value that indicates the present state of the event handling for a routed event as it travels the route. Inherited from RoutedEventArgs.
LinkType Gets the type of the edited link.
OriginalSource Gets the original reporting source as determined by pure hit testing, before any possible Source adjustment by a parent class. Inherited from RoutedEventArgs.
Predecessor Gets the predecessor of the edited link (connector).
PredecessorLink Gets an edited predecessor link (connector).
RoutedEvent Gets or sets the RoutedEvent associated with this RoutedEventArgs instance. Inherited from RoutedEventArgs.
Source Gets or sets a reference to the object that raised the event. Inherited from RoutedEventArgs.
Successor Gets the successor of the edited link (connector).

Remarks

The event arguments' BeginPredecessorLinkEditEventArgs.Predecessor property returns a predecessor of the edited link (connector). To get the successor, use the BeginPredecessorLinkEditEventArgs.Successor property.

Use the BeginPredecessorLinkEditEventArgs.LinkType property to get the edited link type. The edited link's data object can be accessed with the BeginPredecessorLinkEditEventArgs.PredecessorLink property.
