IdxRichEditShape.GetRange Method

Returns the anchor position of the floating picture or text box.

Remarks

Call this function to obtain the document range that corresponds to the shape’s base position within the document. The range’s Length property always returns 1. You can call the parent document’s Delete procedure and pass this document range to delete the shape.

The GetRange function is the Range property’s getter.
