TdxCustomNavBar.OnOverlayShowing Event

In This Article

Enables you to prevent the Hamburger Menu from expanding on top of the control’s parent (container) as an overlay.

#Declaration

Delphi
property OnOverlayShowing: TdxNavBarShowingPopupEvent read; write;

#Remarks

This event occurs every time the collapsed Hamburger Menu is about to expand, provided that the NavBar control’s OptionsBehavior.HamburgerMenu.DisplayMode property is set to dmOverlay or dmOverlayMinimal.

The Sender parameter provides access to the NavBar control that raised the OnOverlayShowing event. Cast the parameter value to the TdxNavBar class to access the control’s API members.

Assign False to the AAllow parameter within an OnOverlayShowing event handler to prevent the Hamburger Menu from expanding in an overlay mode.

Note

Handle the OnPopupShowing event instead if you need to prevent the NavBar control from expanding in all other cases.
