#Declaration

Delphi

#Property Value

Type Description
Single

The current thickness (in pixels) of major tick marks at 96 DPI. The property value can be 1 or higher.

#Remarks

#Property Value Examples

Value Examples[1]
1 (default) VCL Chart Control: Major Tick Marks with the Default Thickness on X and Y Axes
2 VCL Chart Control: Major Tick Marks with Double Thickness on X and Y Axes

#Property Setter Behavior

The Thickness property setter changes the property value to 1 if you assign a value below 1 to the Thickness property.

#Property Values and Scaling

The Thickness property specifies the base thickness (in pixels) of major tick marks that corresponds to 96 DPI. The Chart control’s draw routines multiply the Thickness property value by the current scale factor and round the result to the nearest integer to calculate actual thickness of major tick marks on the target screen.

The Thickness property’s default value is 1.
