You can use the properties of the specified DataBinding object to:

• define the data type of item values;

• associate an arbitrary value with the chart item via the DataBinding.Data property;

• etc.

At design time, you can select a data type for a chart item from its DataBinding.ValueType property, which provides a list of the available data types.
