Remarks

Use the DataController property to access the object used to retrieve and manage the data displayed within the pivot grid control. You can use the DataController property to get direct access to the underlying data source. However, it’s recommended that you use the pivot grid’s ViewData property since it provides a more convenient way in which to access the displayed data.

Note

The data controller can be used to add unbound fields into the control and supply data to them. See the example on how to do this.
