Remarks

Instead of addressing a column by its ColumnInfo.Name, you can assign it an Alias. The alias is used to refer to a column in calculations and summary values within the SELECT statement of a SQL string. By using aliases, it is possible to identify data columns that have similar names.

To learn whether or not a column has been assigned an alias, use the ColumnInfo.HasAlias property.

The ColumnInfo.ActualName property returns the current identifier of a data column (its name or alias).
