ASPxClientTab.SetText(value) Method

Specifies the text displayed within the tab.

Declaration

SetText(
    value: string
): void

Parameters

Name Type Description
value string

A string value that is the text displayed within the tab.

Remarks

NOTE
  • If the TabBase.Text property is empty and a tab image is specified, a text element markup is not rendered. In this case, it is impossible to set a text on the client side using the SetText method.
  • The SetText method HTML encodes the specified text.

Example

This example demonstrates how specific item characteristics (the text, visibility, availability to end-users, checked state) of a control (the ASPxMenu in this case) can be changed on the client side using available JavaScript methods.
