ASPxClientDockManager Class

A client-side equivalent of the ASPxDockManager object.

Remarks

The ASPxClientDockManager object serves as a client-side equivalent of the ASPxDockManager control, and implements the functionality of a client ASPxDockManager object.

Using the methods exposed by the ASPxClientDockManager object:

• a particular panel or zone can be accessed by its unique identifier (ASPxClientDockManager.GetPanelByUID and ASPxClientDockManager.GetZoneByUID);
• an array of all panels on a page can be accessed (ASPxClientDockManager.GetPanels);
• an array of all zones on a page can be accessed (ASPxClientDockManager.GetZones);

The client events available via the ASPxClientDockManager object allow you to respond to various panel manipulations:

• docking (ASPxClientDockManager.BeforeDock and ASPxClientDockManager.AfterDock);
• dragging (ASPxClientDockManager.StartPanelDragging and ASPxClientDockManager.EndPanelDragging);
• closing (ASPxClientDockManager.PanelCloseUp and ASPxClientDockManager.PanelCloseUp);
• showing (ASPxClientDockManager.PanelPopUp and ASPxClientDockManager.PanelShown);
• resizing (ASPxClientDockManager.PanelResize).

Note

The client-side programmatic interface is available if the ASPxDockManager.ClientInstanceName property is defined, or any client event is handled.
