TreeList.HideEditor() Method

In This Article

Switches the TreeList control from edit to browse mode without saving changes.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraTreeList

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraTreeList.v24.2.dll

NuGet Packages: DevExpress.Win.Navigation, DevExpress.Win.TreeList

#Declaration

public virtual void HideEditor()

#Remarks

Use the HideEdtor method to stop cell value editing. This method destroys the edited cell’s editor and switches the control to browse mode. Changes made within the edited cell are discarded. Note that the TreeList.HiddenEditor event is raised as a result.

If no cell is being edited at the presentmoment, the HideEditor method does nothing.

You can switch the TreeList control from browse to edit mode via the TreeList.ShowingEditor and TreeList.ShownEditor events.
