Remarks

Use the Item property to access the default style settings for links when they are not hot-tracked, pressed or disabled.

Note

Each View has its own default settings for default styles. That is why when changing the View applied to the control, the Item property value is automatically set to the default link style specified by the newly assigned View.

You can also use the settings of a custom style (if any) to specify the appearance of an item. For this purpose, assign the style object represented by the custom style’s Style property to the Item property.
