DayView.AllDayAreaScrollBarVisible Property

Specifies whether scrolling of the All-Day Area is enabled, and the corresponding scrollbar is visible in the Day View, Work-Week View, Full Week View views.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduler

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduler.v22.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Wpf.Scheduler

public bool AllDayAreaScrollBarVisible { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Description

true if the scrollbar for the all-day area is enabled and visible; otherwise, false.

You are viewing documentation for the legacy WPF Scheduler control. If you’re starting a new project, we strongly recommend that you use a new control declared in the DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduling namespace. If you decide to upgrade an existing project in order to switch to the updated scheduler control, see the Migration Guidelines document.

When the AllDayAreaScrollBarVisible is set to true, a vertical scrollbar appears, which enables end-users to scroll the All-Day Area and see additional all-day appointments. It is helpful when more all-day appointments exist than can be displayed in the current All-Day Area of the view. Drag the scroll thumb to show hidden appointments.

You can force all-day events to be displayed in time cells, instead of the all-day area, by setting the DayView.ShowAllDayArea property to false.

This example demonstrates how to customize the Day View within the Scheduler control.

To do this, it is necessary to modify the DayView object accessed via the SchedulerControl.DayView property.

View Example

    <dxsch:DayView DayCount="3"
                   ShowAllDayArea="True" AllDayAreaScrollBarVisible="False"
                   ShowMoreButtons="True" ShowMoreButtonsOnEachColumn="True">
            <dxsch:SchedulerDayViewAppointmentDisplayOptions ShowRecurrence="True"
                   EndTimeVisibility="Always" />
            <dxschcore:TimeOfDayInterval Start="09:30:00" End="18:30:00" />
            <dxschcore:TimeOfDayInterval Start="08:00:00" End="20:00:00" />
