NuGet Package: DevExpress.Wpf.RichEdit

#Declaration

public bool ThrowExceptionOnInvalidFormatSwitch { get; set; }

#Property Value

#Property Paths

Object Type Path to ThrowExceptionOnInvalidFormatSwitch
RichEditControl
.FieldOptions .ThrowExceptionOnInvalidFormatSwitch

#Remarks

When the DXRichEdit updates a field, it starts by parsing the Field.CodeRange content to obtain the field name and the field switches. On an attempt to recognize the invalid field formatting switch, an exception is thrown. You can prevent the exception from propagating by setting the ThrowExceptionOnInvalidFormatSwitch property to false. In this situation, the field is calculated but the formatting switch is ignored.

Tip

Set the ThrowExceptionOnInvalidFormatSwitch property to false to open documents containing incorrect field codes.
