SideBarView Class

Represents a view similar to the side bars found in Microsoft Outlook, prior to version 2003.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.NavBar

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.NavBar.v24.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Wpf.NavBar

#Declaration

public class SideBarView :
    NavBarViewBase

#Remarks

The view implemented by the SideBarView class is similar to the side bars found in Microsoft Outlook, prior to version 2003. Only one group’s content can be visible at one time. End-users can click the desired group’s header to make that group’s content visible. Clicking a collapsed group’s header expands the corresponding group, and collapses the previously expanded group.

In addition to common members inherited from the base class, the SideBarView class implements the SideBarView.ActiveGroupMinHeight property, allowing you to define the minimum height of the active group.

Once you have created a new instance of the SideBarView class, it should be assigned to the NavBarControl’s NavBarControl.View property to apply this view to the control.
