Remarks

Text content of the editor is trimmed when it overflows the editor’s edges in display mode. Refer to the Assign Editors to Cells topic for more information.

The TextTrimming property has no effect unless the TextEditSettings.TextWrapping property is set to NoWrap. The template, used to present the content of the tooltip, is specified via the BaseEdit.TrimmedTextToolTipContentTemplate property.
