Remarks

This property specifies a reference to an external image loaded into the Office Image container that is hosted by the inline image. The Uri property value is normally obtained (or updated) from the INCLUDEPICTURE document field that is referring to the source bitmap of the displayed inline image. Likewise, the Rich Edit control’s HTML document import and export routines use the Uri property to load or save web (HTML) documents referring to external images.

The Uri and Image.Uri property values are synchronized.

The default value of the Uri property is an empty string.
