Totals and Grand Totals

The ExpressPivotGrid control allows totals to be calculated against its data. It supports three types of totals: automatic totals, custom totals and automatic grand totals. Totals are displayed as additional columns or rows and they contain summarized data.

Automatic totals are calculated using a summary function which is specified by a corresponding data field. Custom totals can be calculated using any summary function. It’s possible to calculate multiple custom totals against a data field.

Automatic grand totals are calculated against all the records used to calculate summaries for cross cells.
