ICalendarExporter.ProductIdentifier Property

Gets or sets the identifier for the product that created the iCalendar object.

A string typically containing company name, product name and language-specific information separated by slashes.

#Remarks

According to RFC 2445, this property is required for an iCalendar object. It should be a globally unique identifier that follows a specific syntax like an FPI (Formal Public Identifier) defined in ISO 9070:

“[+-]//Owner//Application Name//Language”

If the string starts with a - (minus sign) then the owner information is unregistered, the + (plus sign) identifies it as being registered in the ISO 9070 Registrar.

Below is an example of an identifier:

“-//Developer Express Inc.//DXScheduler iCalendarExportDemo//EN”
