Remarks

This property returns True if the document is protected; otherwise – False. A protected document’s content is not editable, except for permission ranges. Only the user whose name is assigned to a specific range permission’s UserName property can edit the corresponding document range.

Call the Protect or Unprotect procedures to enforce or disable the document protection. The Rich Edit control has the ProtectDocument and UnprotectDocument end-user commands for the same purpose.
