SqlDataConnection Methods

A connection to a SqlDataSource.
Name Description
BlackoutCredentials() Removes user credentials from the connection string generated for the current SqlDataConnection.
Close() Closes the connection to a SQL data source.
CreateConnectionString() Generates a connection string out of the connection parameters assigned to the SqlDataConnection.
CreateConnectionString(Boolean) Generates a connection string out of the connection parameters assigned to the SqlDataConnection (with or without including user credentials into the connection string).
CreateDataConnectionParameters() Creates an object that contains data connection parameters.
Dispose() Releases all resources used by SqlDataConnection.
Equals(Object, Object) static Determines whether the specified object instances are considered equal. Inherited from Object.
Equals(Object) Determines whether the specified object is equal to the current object. Inherited from Object.
GetDBSchema() Returns the schema of the data source that is connected using the current SqlDataConnection.
GetDBSchema(Boolean, SchemaLoadingMode) Returns the schema of an SQL data source.
GetDBSchema(Boolean) Returns the schema of the data source that is connected using the current SqlDataConnection.
GetDBSchema(String[]) Returns the schema of the data source that is connected using the current SqlDataConnection.
GetHashCode() Serves as the default hash function. Inherited from Object.
GetType() Gets the Type of the current instance. Inherited from Object.
LoadDBColumns(DBTable[]) Loads columns from the specified tables.
MemberwiseClone() protected Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. Inherited from Object.
Open() Opens the data connection session. Inherited from DataConnectionBase.
ReferenceEquals(Object, Object) static Determines whether the specified Object instances are the same instance. Inherited from Object.
ToString() Returns a string that represents the current object. Inherited from Object.
