The Select Table Elements Menu item is a drop-down menu in the Table group. This menu contains the following items:

Select Table

The button selects the entire table that contains the caret.

Select Table Cell

The button selects the cell that contains the caret.

Select Table Column

The button selects columns that contain the selected cells.

Select Table Row

The button selects rows that contain the selected cells.
