Remarks

The Save Document item is a button in the ribbon’s Common group and the toolbar’s File group. This button allows users to save an open document.

The button is hidden when save operations are disabled. Refer to the following section for more information: Save a Document.

Use the SaveDocument property to perform the following operations:

• Access the Save Document item’s properties.
• Add/remove the item to/from a group.

The following code snippet removes the Save Document item from the ribbon.
