Gets the name associated with the application.

Type Description

A string value that represents the application name.


An application’s title is used in a UI, to present the application name for end-users. For instance, it is displayed on application Windows and in application messages. The default value is specified by the IModelApplication.Title property of the Application Model‘s Application node. You can set another value by setting the Title property or by setting the Title property. In the latter case, you can localize the application title.

An application has one more name which is provided by the XafApplication.ApplicationName property. This name is for internal use.
