ASPxGridListEditor.IsAdaptive Property

Specifies whether or not the adaptive and responsive layout is enabled for the ASPxGridListEditor.Grid control.

Namespace: DevExpress.ExpressApp.Web.Editors.ASPx

Assembly: DevExpress.ExpressApp.Web.v24.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.ExpressApp.Web

#Declaration

public bool IsAdaptive { get; set; }

#Property Value

Type Description
Boolean

true, if the adaptive and responsive layout is enabled, otherwise, false.

#Remarks

The default value of the IsAdaptive property is taken from the Application Model (see IModelListViewWeb.IsAdaptive)

To change the IsAdaptive value in code, add a View Controller class to the ASP.NET Web Forms module project and override the OnActivated method.

using DevExpress.ExpressApp;
using DevExpress.ExpressApp.Web.Editors.ASPx;
// ...
public class EnableAdaptivityController : ViewController<ListView> {
    protected override void OnActivated() {
        base.OnActivated();
        ASPxGridListEditor listEditor = View.Editor as ASPxGridListEditor;
        if(listEditor != null)
            listEditor.IsAdaptive = true;
    }
}

This property overrides settings specified in the Application Model.

Tip

Use the IModelColumnWeb.AdaptivePriority property to adjust the column’s priority with regard to the adaptive and responsive layout.
