SchedulerControl.AllowAppointmentCopy Property

Gets or sets whether copying appointments is allowed. This is a dependency property.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduling

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduling.v24.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Wpf.Scheduling

#Declaration

public bool AllowAppointmentCopy { get; set; }

#Property Value

Type Description
Boolean

true, to allow copying appointments; otherwise, false.

#Remarks

By default, end-users can copy an appointment by doing the following:

  • Click and drag an appointment with the right mouse button, and select Copy… in the invoked context menu;

  • Press and hold the CTRL key, click and drag an appointment(s) with the left mouse button.

Use the AllowAppointmentCopy property to control the end-users’ capability to perform these actions in a centralized manner. You can also override this global behavior by handling the SchedulerControl.CustomAllowAppointmentCopy event.

The SchedulerControl.CopyingToClipboard event occurs before copied appointments are moved to the clipboard and allows you to prevent appointments from being moved to the clipboard.
