DiagramControl.TreeLayoutIsCompact Property

Specifies whether the automatic tree layout arranges shapes minimizing the space between them. This is a dependency property.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Diagram

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Diagram.v24.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Wpf.Diagram

#Declaration

public bool TreeLayoutIsCompact { get; set; }

#Property Value

Type Description
Boolean

true, to enable the compact tree layout; otherwise, false. By default, true.

#Remarks

If the TreeLayoutIsCompact property is set to false, the automatic layout algorithm arranges shapes so that the gap between shapes of the same hierarchy level is increased based on the space that is taken by shapes at lower levels. See the illustration below.

To learn more, see Automatic Layout.

The TreeLayoutIsCompact property is not in effect for the tip-over tree layout.
