Remarks

The GetHotTrack function returns the color used to highlight text when the mouse is placed over it. The color returned by this function depends on the version of Windows being used. If Windows® 98 or Windows® 2000 is used, the GetHotTrack function returns the color that is equal to the system color specified by the COLOR_HOTLIGHT parameter. Otherwise, the color specified by the COLOR_HIGHLIGHT parameter is returned.
