XafDataView Methods

A lightweight read-only list of data records (a data view) retrieved from a database without loading complete business objects. Can be queried much more quickly than a real objects collection.

Name	Description
Add(Object)	This method is required to provide IList support. It always throws a NotSupportedException because the list represented by XafDataView is readonly (see the Exceptions section of the IList.Add Method topic).
Clear()	This method is required to provide the IList support. It always throws a NotSupportedException because the list represented by XafDataView is readonly (see the Exceptions section of the IList.Clear Method topic).
Contains(Object)	Determines whether the XafDataView contains a specific data record.
CopyTo(Array, Int32)	Copies the data records to an array, starting at a particular array index.
Dispose()	Releases all resources used by the XafDataView.
Equals(Object, Object) static	Determines whether the specified object instances are considered equal. Inherited from Object.
Equals(Object)	Determines whether the specified object is equal to the current object. Inherited from Object.
FindExpression(String)	Finds the expression by its name in the current XafDataView.
GetHashCode()	Serves as the default hash function. Inherited from Object.
GetType()	Gets the Type of the current instance. Inherited from Object.
IndexOf(Object)	Determines the index of a specific data record in the XafDataView.
Insert(Int32, Object)	This method is required to provide IList support. It always throws a NotSupportedException because the list represented by XafDataView is readonly (see the Exceptions section of the IList.Insert Method topic).
MemberwiseClone() protected	Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. Inherited from Object.
ReferenceEquals(Object, Object) static	Determines whether the specified Object instances are the same instance. Inherited from Object.
Reload()	Clears the data records cache.
Remove(Object)	This method is required to provide IList support. It always throws a NotSupportedException because the list represented by XafDataView is readonly (see the Exceptions section of the IList.Remove Method topic).
RemoveAt(Int32)	This method is required to provide IList support. It always throws a NotSupportedException because the list represented by XafDataView is readonly (see the Exceptions section of the IList.RemoveAt Method topic).
ToString()	Returns a string that represents the current object. Inherited from Object.
