AuthenticationBase.ClearSecuredLogonParameters() Method

Resets values exposed by the Logon Parameters object that should not be accessible after logon (e.g., password).

Namespace: DevExpress.ExpressApp.Security

Assembly: DevExpress.ExpressApp.Security.v24.2.dll

#Declaration

public virtual void ClearSecuredLogonParameters()

#Remarks

The logon parameters specified in the Logon Window can be accessed via the SecuritySystem.LogonParameters property. You can clear the logon parameters, so they are not accessible in the application. For instance, a password can be hidden. For this purpose, clear these logon parameters when overriding the ClearSecuredLogonParameters method, as it is demonstrated in the How to: Use Custom Logon Parameters and Authentication topic.

The following code snippet (auto-collected from DevExpress Examples) contains a reference to the ClearSecuredLogonParameters() method.
