Remarks

The English Metric Unit or EMU is used as a measurement unit in Office Open XML. It divides evenly into both the English and the Metric units.

One inch is equal to 914400 EMUs and one centimeter equals 360000 EMUs

The document unit is equal to 1/300 inch.
