XPBaseCollection.CaseSensitive Property

Gets or sets whether string comparisons during sorting and filtering of the XPBaseCollection are case-sensitive.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpo

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpo.v24.2.dll

Declaration

[DefaultValue(false)]
public bool CaseSensitive { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Default Description
Boolean false

true if string comparisons are case-sensitive; otherwise, false.

Remarks

If the CaseSensitive property is set to true, sorting and filtering-on-client operations are case-sensitive (if they involve string comparison operations). Otherwise, they are not.

To specify the sorting and filtering-on-client rules use the XPBaseCollection.Sorting and XPBaseCollection.Filter properties, respectively.

Note

If the CaseSensitive property is not specified, the corresponding setting is obtained from the XPBaseCollection.Session used for the current collection (see Session.CaseSensitive).
