Remarks

The Borders and Shadings group is in the Design tab and includes the following items:

Table Border Color

A color edit that allows users to change the color of cell borders.

Table Borders Menu

A drop-down menu that allows users to customize borders of table cells.

Table Border Style

A combo box that allows users to change the style of cell borders.

Table Border Width

A combo box that allows users to change the width of cell borders.

Table Cell Shading

A color edit that allows users to change the background color of table cells.

Use the DesignBordersAndShadings property to perform the following operations:

• Access the Borders and Shadings group’s properties.
• Add/remove the group to/from the toolbar or the ribbon’s tab.
