Name | Description |
---|---|
Error | An error dialog is displayed when a rule is broken. A user must modify data in order to fix the error and proceed. |
Warning | A warning dialog is displayed a rule is broken. A user can ignore this warning and proceed. |
Information | No dialog is displayed when a rule is broken. Instead, an information glyph appears near the rule’s target property in UI. Broken rule details are available in this glyph’s tooltip. |
#Remarks
The default value is Error, i.e., a user must make data valid in order to proceed. However, you can define validation rules that can be ignored by end users by setting ResultType to Warning or Info.
