The Reports Module comprises three assemblies:

  • DevExpress.ExpressApp.ReportsV2.v23.2.dll

    Contains base classes and services that are used by both the DevExpress.ExpressApp.ReportsV2.Win and DevExpress.ExpressApp.ReportsV2.Web assemblies.

    This assembly represents a module, since it contains the ReportsModuleV2 class - a descendant of the ModuleBase class.

  • DevExpress.ExpressApp.ReportsV2.Win.v23.2.dll

    Contains classes that are required in Windows Forms applications only. This assembly represents a module, since it contains the ReportsWindowsFormsModuleV2 class - a descendant of the ModuleBase class.

  • DevExpress.ExpressApp.ReportsV2.Web.v23.2.dll

    Contains classes that are required in ASP.NET Web Forms applications only.

    This assembly represents a module, since it contains the ReportsAspNetModuleV2 class - a descendant of the ModuleBase class. When you drag and drop ReportsAspNetModuleV2 from the Toolbox to the Application Designer‘s Modules section, the references to the DevExpress.ExpressApp.ReportsV2.Web and DevExpress.ExpressApp.ReportsV2 assemblies are added to the application project automatically.

The ReportsAspNetModuleV2 class exposes properties whose values determine the behavior of the features supplied with the DevExpress.ExpressApp.ReportsV2.Web assembly. To set these properties, select the ReportsAspNetModuleV2 component in the Application Designer‘s Modules section, and use the Properties window.
