With the Domain Components, you define interfaces instead of declaring regular XPO classes. The actual business class is automatically generated by XAF at run time. By default, the
DCBaseObject class is the ancestor of generated classes.
The following are the main features of the DCBaseObject class:
- Contains a Guid-type auto-generated DCBaseObject.Oid primary key property;
- Supports optimistic concurrency control;
- Supports deferred deletion.
To use another base class, pass the baseClass parameter to the ITypesInfo.RegisterEntity method when registering a Domain Component with the application.
