Select a Data Connection

The next wizard page shows existing data connections created for the specified connection type:

If you select, “No, I’d like to specify the connection parameters myself”, you will proceed to the following page:

• Specify Connection Properties

If you select “Yes, let me choose an existing connection from the list”, you will proceed to the following page:

• Create a Query or Select a Stored Procedure

Note

If you specify a data connection in the Visual Studio Report Designer, the data source wizard enables you to save the connection string to your application’s configuration file.

Click Next to proceed to the next wizard page, depending on the selected option.
