Create a Ribbon Page Category

This document describes how to automatically generate a Page Category that permits chart customization.

Click the smart-tag and select the Create Ribbon link.

Then, the Ribbon Control will be added to the form, and category and pages will be generated.

The Chart Tools Ribbon Page Category contains the following pages.

• The Design Page

  This page allows you to customize the appearance of the chart and series view settings.

  

  The two following groups are located on the Design.

  • Chart Type group elements allow you to specify the view and its base settings used to display series data.
  • Appearance group elements allow you to configure basic chart appearance settings such as ChartControl.PaletteName, ChartControl.PaletteBaseColorNumber and ChartControl.AppearanceName.

• The Other Page

  This page contains elements that allow you to perform additional actions, such as:

  • invoke the Chart Designer;
  • load or save a chart layout;
  • print or export a chart.
