Type	Description
Nullable<Boolean>	true if all characters are italicized; false if no character is italicized; null if only some characters are italicized.

Remarks

Use a text span’s FontItalic or a table cell’s CharacterProperties.FontItalic property to identify whether all characters in the span or cell are italicized. Call the TextSpan.ChangePropertiesAsync or TableCell.ChangePropertiesAsync method to apply/remove the italic font attribute to/from characters.

The following example applies the italic font attribute to all characters in a text span:
