Important

This documentation topic describes legacy technology. We no longer develop new functionality for the GridControl and suggest that you use the new DataGridView control instead.

If the IsReadOnly property is set to true, end-users are not allowed to change cell values, create new data rows and delete existing rows. To set the read-only status for individual columns, use the column’s GridColumn.IsReadOnly property.
