Regular and Checked Drop-down Filters

The drop-down filter can be a regular list of items (select one item at a time) or a checked list (select/check items simultaneously).
Drop-down filters for non-date-time columns are regular lists. To use a checked drop-down filter for a column, set the column’s ColumnBase.FilterPopupMode property to FilterPopupMode.CheckedList.
The following table summarizes the differences between regular and checked drop-down filters:
