The Smart Tags options page enables you to customize options for CodeRush Classic Smart Tags.
The options page contains the following options:
Enable DXCore smart tags
Specifies whether the DXCore smart tag is shown when a DXCore action is available in the caret. If the option is disabled, DXCore actions can be accessed from either the Visual Studio context menu or a shortcut.
Enable DXCore smart tags while debugging
Specifies whether a DXCore smart tag can be shown while debugging.
Add smart tag items to the VS context menu
If this option is checked, you can access smart tag items from the Visual Studio context menu.
Use asynchronous Smart Tag Popup Menu
Specifies whether CodeRush Classic shows the smart tag popup menu immediately after you click a smart tag, and loads the menu items asynchronously, or shows the menu after all items have loaded. If the option is enabled and menu item load time is slow, CodeRush Classic shows a progress hint.
Show smart tags after VS idle time:
Specifies the idle time (in milliseconds), after which the DXCore smart tag is shown.
In Visual Studio 2005 and greater
Specifies whether a DXCore or a Visual Studio smart tag is shown for DXCore actions.
If there are no operations available:
Specifies whether a notification is shown when the smart tag context menu is called via a shortcut, provided that there are no available operations for the current caret position.
If only one operation is available:
Specifies whether the smart tag context menu is shown or the action is executed immediately when the smart tag context menu is called via a shortcut, provided that only one action is available for the current caret position.
Specifies smart tag colors and opacity.
This product is designed for outdated versions of Visual Studio. Although Visual Studio 2015 is supported, consider using the CodeRush extension with Visual Studio 2015 or higher.
