The Training Window options page contains the CodeRush Classic tool window options.

opTrainingWindow

The tool window includes the following options.

  • Send the pressed keys to the editor if they were pressed inside the window

    If this option is enabled you can type the code into the code editor even if the CodeRush Classic tool window is focused.

  • Use optional colors for type grouping

    Check this option to highlight repeating types with the specified color.

  • Colors

    The Colors section enables you to specify the color for each element of the CodeRush Classic tool window. The available elements are listed in the left part of the section. The color picker is located in the right part.

  • Show blocks

    Use this section to choose what blocks CodeRush Classic should show in the CodeRush Classic tool window. You can specify visibility of any of the following blocks:

    • Refactor
    • Code
    • Jump to
    • Shortcuts

    Note that the tool window always shows the information on currently available templates.

  • Underline mnemonic in the template

    Check this option to underline mnemonics in a template.

  • Mnemonics for types

    Specifies whether the CodeRush Classic tool window shows appropriate mnemonic to the left of a type.

Note

This product is designed for outdated versions of Visual Studio. Although Visual Studio 2015 is supported, consider using the CodeRush extension with Visual Studio 2015 or higher.
